from June till August…

.. happened a lot, but unfortunately I had not any time to continue my blog. So, another “resume-article” will (hopefully) compensate this! What happened? Apart from working end developing E-Mobility.pt as a reliable brand for electric bicycles, cargo- and commuter bikes in Portugal, we used our bikes a lot for pleasure (see illustration on the [...]

the silence of the lambs…

…we had not in mind, but we were quiet for along time.. too long for serious blogging, I know. But anyway, sometimes business is more important. That should not be the usual way and therefore I will try to collect a little bit what happened from End of April til beginning of June: 1. We [...]

Miss Grace

Recently I saw I photo of Crown Princess Maxima from Holland on a Gazelle NL Heavy Duty. It was nice to see, that the Dutch Royals are riding their own products… . I was trying to imagine, how the Dutch Crown Princess steps into a local bicycle shop and bought herself a bicycle. Maybe Prince Willem-Alexander [...]

The follow-up visits: Vol.2

Another innovative company that we met on Eurobike 2009 were the guys from Bionicon. Recommended by their good friends from Fixie-Inc. I visited their booth in Friedrichshafen. Though I was not looking after Mountain Bikes or anything else from the “sporty-section” I was impressed by the package of technological outstanding solutions.  [A small step into [...]

The follow-up visits: Vol. 1

On Eurobike 2009 we made a lot of contacts and meanwhile we realized (already in 2009) several brand implementations in the Portuguese market. To improve these contacts and to know better the people behind the brands we decided to visit in early 2010 all the companies we meanwhile represent. Even if it was just for curiosity. First of all [...]

Bullitt, Christiana, Winther…

It is Wint(h)er time and Europe is caught under ice and snow. Fortunately in Portugal we are not (yet) in the situation of this bike messenger from Berlin, who must use his Bullitt Cargo Bike under the worst circumstances.  Anyway – back to the topic: Since this year we have three Danish bike brands represented in Portugal: [...]

rohloff-speedhub / bullitt-cargo bike

Supported by Rohloff AG/ Fuldatal we adapted a Rohloff Speedhub (14 internal gears) into a Bullitt FastCargoBike, made by LarryvsHarry, Denmark. This merger of two exclusive brands was even logical. A lot of clients already asked for that combination, but due to production logistic reasons there was so far no way to buy a Bullitt bike [...]

classic dutch…

[attention: self-marketing.. ] Last week, the first Gazelle bicycles were delivered to final customers in Portugal. Really interesting in that context was the fact, that these clients found on their own the type of bicycle and the size of frame etc. through Internet search and decided after a few mails what to buy. All of [...]

off-line…

…finally we’re back! Due to a server switch our blog was more or less paralysed in a parallel-world for two weeks. No EUROBIKE internals as I promised, no pictures, but a lot of file back up, directory re-naming and so on… Means, that the files were on two different servers and everything has to be copied [...]
